I am proud. Proud of my dry, cracked and hard heels. Most women shave the rough skin, creating an aura of softness. Yet, it is completely false. Their heels are only temporarily "fixed".
My heels, though prove that I've traveled, prove I've done something in my life.
They clip, prod, pick and worry over their heels. I worry about the hot cement being painful or if there is glass.
